A restaurant in Aalst, Belgium, came to us for a complete rebrand. While traveling in Japan, I was inspired by the small cafés to design a fresh, minimal logo that stayed true to their values and traditions. We transformed their outdated branding into something new and timeless. I added the tagline ‘Come as friends, leave as family,’ reflecting the restaurant’s warm, honest, and welcoming spirit. Beyond the logo, we redefined their look and feel, creative direction, updated their signage and whole restaurant redesign and front design, branded plates and cups, and set up their delivery system and online orders on Shopify, along with a beautifully designed website. In a competitive town, they stand out by staying true to their roots and creating a dining experience that feels like home.
